The objective of the program is for the student to learn and become proficient using modern technology to create music. The following skills will be introduced and developed: • Using various computer software for recording and sequencing. • The use of various outboard gear such as mixers, amplifiers and recorders. • The study and use of software and hardware effects as applied to music tracks or live application. • To develop a repertoire of recorded pieces. • Using and learning various tablet and smartphone apps that apply to music and production.
